Little Girl and Gilly brought their piglets out into the sunshine by the road this morning. After a truck did an abrupt stop in front of our house I knew something was up and went out to see this.
They are surrounded by piglets though they are hard to see because of their color. Little girl got up after a minute and I got some more pictures. She was almost showing them off for me.
This sow is Gilly, half Hampton/York half Berkshire bred to a Tamworth.
The lighter piglets with a lot of white on them are hers. Little Girls, purebred Berkshire bred to a Tamworth, piglets are the top picture.
A pile of piglets :)
And last but not least, she is the BIGGEST sow after all, is Big Girl who is still waiting for her piglets. She's in a cranky stage so hopefully it will be soon.
